Serge just told HMV that there will be a full UK tour before the end of the year. That's a pretty decent interview. I'm going to check out all the albums he mentioned.

Tom told the french website that they will play the usual arenas in the UK at the end of novembre and decembre. I hope a full french tour as well but I don't know if we will have it before 2015, not sure (I could then go to Bremen as a friend of mine lives near Strasbourg and I could have holidays in October). I also have read something about Brixton (London) but I suppose it was a joke.

A little off topic... some interesting things in the interview, like this:
You’ve got some big shows coming up, you’re headlining Glastonbury, was your new record written with big crowds in mind? "I think so. We’re a big band and we play massive shows and as much as I’d like to make a four-song album that’s all instrumental and avant garde, that doesn’t go down well in front of 100,000 people. Our band brings people together, we get people singing in unison, we need to make albums with that in mind, we can add bits of experimentation, bits of hip-hop and electronica, but still unifying."
I think such a "four-song" album would be very interesting. It would be so nice if they could do it - maybe as a side project or something. It would probably be a Pink-Floyd/Frank Zappa like sound. But with their tight schedule it seems almost impossible.

Lots of rumours and wishful thinking on twitter that Kasabian are the secret act at Reading and Leeds.

You'd have to assume they'll play the Chilean and Argentinian Lollapalooza dates too? That would be two country debuts there.

You'd have to assume they'll play the Chilean and Argentinian Lollapalooza dates too? That would be two country debuts there. I was 13 years old when they came in 2007, I didn't know Kasabian, even didn't like real good bands. I can't say if they will be in the Chilean and Argentinian versions, but the same journalist said the bands are very similar in Brazil, Chile and Argentina. This year the Brazilian headliner was Muse, while Red Hot Chili Peppers headlined in Chile and Argentina. All other bands are almost the same. I believe Kasabian will be the headliner here in Brazil, also in Chile and Argentina. A little note: Kasabian would come to Brazil to Planeta Terra Festival in 2012. The band was already here, but an Serge's disease made them cancelled all South American tour. I had tickets for the festival and also the airplane ticket to travel to São Paulo. It was a shame...

Any signs that Kasabian will be touring in 2015? Definitely. Serge said on Absolute Radio that they'll be playing festivals, but there will most likely be lots of other things as well.
