I thought it would make sense to have a separate corner for uncomfirmed rumours, so we can speculate and discuss them without making a new thread each time and getting everyone excited.
Currently there's someone on Twitter claiming Kasabian will announce a gig at Sunderland Stadium of Light soon.

Everybody seems to be ecstatic about this on twitter although no other confirmation except that one original tweet. I'm not excited about stadium gigs at all though.

Well, a guy I work with also said this to me on Friday about the gig in Sunderland (he's a local lad to the area), he's never been wrong about a gig at the Stadium of Light yet, so i'd say watch this space. |

There is a screencap from Billboard Japan circulating on twitter which shows the leaked list of Summer Sonic 2014 performers and Kasabian are one of them. The article about it and the original tweet were deleted later   |

My money is still on some small warm up dates, festivals in summer, then Europe more extensively in autumn and UK arena tour in November/December so we can queue in the cold again. It's always been like that.

Ugh, I hope not Big Day Out again. I hate festivals.. Well I don't hate festivals, I hate the majority of the people that attend the festivals.
I think you're right though, it's more likely that they'll be here in January. Although, they played the Big Day Out January 2010 then came back and did their own tour in July 2010. So there's a slight chance they may be here mid this year (I won't hold my breath, but my fingers are firmly crossed lol)

I swore I would never go and then Kasabian made me. But I still refuse to sleep in a tent, I'm too old for that, where's my bed and my bathroom. I wouldn't worry about Australian gigs, they love it and they've always toured there, it's not some remote location where it might take them another 10 years until they come back. |

same as cassie, no chance for me to go but really excited for the boys. I hope it will be confirmed soon.. but somewhere in my mind i would like they turn off the offer if they have it, like "ho yeah glasto wanted us but fuck them ^^"
on another subject i'm a little confused by the nme pics in the sergery and the card on the wall behind them "dans ta gueule puceau" it make me giggle at work haha
