That's what I was thinking, they said they wouldn't support anyone anymore, and all the ones they did support more recently were a different "size" like U2 and Muse. Then again, maybe they got an offer to do it, and the timing fits with the two German festivals on the 6th and 7th. But it's suspicious that it's not mentioned anywhere, and the part about Fratellis is already false. I don't think it's true and I'm hoping it's not, because I do want a gig but I don't feel like travelling to Berlin for a 5-song support set, and also it's on the same day I was going to see The National. (Still haven't bought a ticket because as soon as I do something like this WILL happen.)

There are 2 new gigs added on ticketmaster here. Both seem unlikely because the venues are too small and they're going on sale on this thurday and friday. But knowing the efficiency of their PR i called ticketmaster just in case and they're saying they're not aware of any mistakes whatsoever and they'll be selling the tickets tomorrow. I am very very confused. |

I emailed both venues, I hope they reply before the tickets go on sale. Ticketmaster also invented an Earls Court gig in late 2010 that was totally not a mistake when we inquired but obviously never happened. I want to think that HQ wouldn't simply forget to announce it. Please let me keep that last shred of faith in them. But they still haven't officially confirmed some of the festivals, so...

HQ are not really active (euphemism) but they posted something on facebook today about the bataclan gig so i think they would have at least announced something that go onsale tomorrow.. i'm perplexed

The most recent thing I can see on their FB is the Summer Sonic announcement two days ago. But so much fuss was made about the Paris gig, you would think they wouldn't simply FORGET to announce it. I'm trying not to think about the possibility that they're something like semi-secret gigs. One of the venues has a capacity of 600.

Wow, but Id thought they'd do a NI gig when they tour.I hope some small stuff comes up over here.My money is seriously in short supply and there is so much I'm missing out on and not having a passport yet doesn't help.Why aren't they posting anything and the presales are just wide open to anyone ,when they happen to appear!!
