I'm thinking maybe this is how they're announcing the tracklisting - randomly, in random tweets and announcement - like stevie in the paris gig tweet. Like an Easter egg hunt basically. It might also be the album title (like highroyds was predicting a few hours ago), what do you think? I'd love that, Shiva sounds beautiful and is Lord of the Dance. |

maybe they decided to announce the songs one by one.. or it's an attempt of diversion after the tracklist incident. i mean, this thing has been made on "Paint" in 30 seconds right? is Aitor paid for that? lol

So Shiva. I have been writing a song on Shiva with the chorus, Shiva, is going to make you Shiva. If this happens in the album, I'm going to flip. And if Kasabian don't come to India after naming a song Shiva then I will be disappointed

And I have mentioned before that Shiva is known for the ulultimate mode of trance. So I think I know what's coming next.

Aithor purposely did a bad job in my opinion.
Shiva is also the lord of destruction. And the name is placed in brackets. And if the album title is that, it could mean (Shiva) is the album containing destruction or Tandaav (dance)

the tweet has been deleted after 2 hours (reaction time of HQ i guess hem) and our lovely admins removed their screen print by respect for the band so ...
i can tell you that there are 13 songs and shiva is the opener. it's probabably still somewhere on tumblr anyway

Details in this thread. I'm sure you'll find it if you look around a bit, please don't post it in full here until it's been officially announced. I don't really think Shiva is the album title, that would be a bit anticlimactic? It was supposed to be launched in a special way, and this was posted without comment by Aitor, and then HQ posted the wrong link at first, that's not exactly a grand announcement. By now I'm thinking it's intentional that everything is a bit vague. First the date without explanation, some random words, the wall. They were probably going to drop little hints everywhere until it all makes sense in the end?

The Kasabian Live app is still showing the bumblebee and (shiva) graphics. They were posted after the tracklisting was leaked and removed again, probably to distract people a bit. My guess it that they're announcing all the tracks now one by one with the pink things, because it's out there anyway. |
