Went looking through the tumblr scans. I wonder what they mean by '... with a little help from the hand of God.'? It's a reference to what Serge says about Bumblebee in the article: "It's Beastie Boys dub with a sort of Zeppelin, Rage Against The Machine chorus. It's got the flavour of a bank robbery getaway car. Everything drops to barely nothing and then the fucking hand of God slams the floor."

I see. I've read it before. Can't wait honestly. I can bet if Bumblebee has a music video, it will be Sergio Pizzorno driving a car, wildly. Just instincts

I don't know if this is just me thinking or something, but I think Kasabian is going to 'capture' a major part of Europe. Album release in Germany Album's new songs in Italy Gigs in Spain, Portugal. Then a massive sonic beast in UK. Wow, things can really heat up in the coming months!

Album release in Germany Album's new songs in Italy Not sure what you mean by that, they have always toured in Europe extensively, headlined festivals, debuted songs. They might not fill stadiums like U2, but they are quite well known. Velociraptor went to #22 in the charts here, which I thought was pretty good, considering they get close to no radio play and no press. The fact that the album is released in Germany two days early is a label technicality and not part of a special plan to conquer Europe, albums are generally released on Fridays here and on Mondays in the UK, if you dig a bit you can see that it's always been like that since West Ryder. Also, new songs in Italy? Do you mean Paris?

I sometimes got the feeling that every German going to festivals regularly knows them and every German not going to festivals never heard of them.

I meant to say France, rather than Italy. But you know, it looks like a circuit with various activities happening at each point at a different time

I sometimes got the feeling that every German going to festivals regularly knows them and every German not going to festivals never heard of them. I'm getting slightly worried about their reputation among German festival goers because Tom's RaR/RiP and Hurricane/Southside mixups are starting to become a bit of a sad running joke, haha. Everytime they're in Germany in some capacity I see at least one person go: "Oh that's the guy who never knows where he is, right?" But Hurricane 2011 was pretty fantastic when I saw them, and apparently 2013 too and the regular gigs anyway, at least that's what Ian told me. Sometimes it's hard to see the atmosphere of a crowd in a TV broadcast.

Haven't seen them very often doing German festivals. Rock im Park 2010 was quite cool because only English and Spain people made it to the front. Rock im Park 2012 on the main stage was a bad joke. Almost no crowd reaction and a very strange concert (Tom threw all mic's from radio/tv off the stage which was only partially shown on tv). Hurricane 2013 was really good.

Apparently, Sergio Pizzorno is using an Omni Chord and something made by Korg on the next album. One of these must be what Sergio referred to as a 'secret weapon'.

They painted a wall today. My best guess is that it's the running time of the album. I'm surprised all that pink didn't make Aitor burst into flames.
