Surprisingly, the first Greek review I've read gave a strong 8 out of 10. It says it's a beautiful record, one of those that you don't have to skip tracks and way better than 48:13. It also says that we have to wait a lot from Kasabian in the future:D

Listened the demos, such a good material, indeed, and nice to hear some tracks in its first recording. There's another one playing with Serge on Twentyfourseven and Psycho, correct? Who would be, Tim?

Quite a quiet release week performance wise compared to previous years! New responsibilities and all I suppose.

It's also their most reliant on guitars album ever. Even WRPLA wasn't that much bare bones style

I just found this commentary album on Amazon Germany, with a release date of 5 May 2036. Only 19 more years.

I just found this commentary album on Amazon Germany, with a release date of 5 May 2036. Only 19 more years. That is hilarious. I would love to hear a commentary on this album. It is just so good! It has the energy and attitude of the debut and Empire, with the maturity and emotion of West Ryder and Raptor. It's a masterpiece. I've given up trying to decide what song is my favorite on it. Instead I just ride that beautiful rollercoaster from start to finish and get back on again. Pretty sure a commentary is the only way to have an inkling of how they put this together so perfectly

Pretty sure a commentary is the only way to have an inkling of how they put this together so perfectly There have been a couple of track by track interviews, this one with John Kennedy, or the one from NME. Serge usually says the same things everywhere though, he gave himself 6 weeks to finish, it has guitars and it's the best.

Are other any leftovers from here? Songs that didn't make it? Or did everything Serge write make it here?

Are other any leftovers from here? Songs that didn't make it? Or did everything Serge write make it here? I believe he said he had some things that didn't make it because they didn't fit his vision of the album, but it didn't sound like proper finished songs, more like ideas that he didn't pursue. He's not the Noel Gallagher type who writes 60 songs for an album and picks the best 10.
