I thought I'd start a holiday thread to see where folk are going this year.
We booked up today to go to Marrakech. I've been before for one day when on holiday in another part of Morocco so looking forward to discovering more of the city.

I can make summer holiday plans once I know Kasabian's touring schedule in detail  Otherwise might drive up to Cotswolds for a few days during February half term if the weather is not too bad. NME awards are right in the middle of the half term week which makes things trickier though. |

We have booked a week in Ireland in April (when they will be playing Coachella...)
And we are waiting for for their tour schedule to make other arrangements!

Hopefully booking South Africa this week. Cape Town, then down the Garden Route to Port Elizabeth, then a 3 dsy safari on the Eastern Cape.
Kinda got distracted by Coachella combined with a frolic round Cali, but the gf has prioritised lions and sharks over me getting another sneaky 43:13 fix.

Unfortunately no holiday for us this year.Im hoping to change job and also I have a cat who is 19 and he's not to clever .I went away last year and the cats went in a cattery but I can't do it this year ,hoping for a long weekend instead something is better than nothing .  ? |

I love holidays. Although I should be careful with my nutrition. It's just too much tasty food during these 2 weeks.

I had a total Christmas spirit thing going on a few weeks ago, but now I feel a bit blah about it. It's too cold and dark and depressing. I want to go outside without having to put on 20 layers. Maybe I'll get back into it once we get the tree up.

It will be a little adventure. Flight is going from Brussels to Krakow. Nobody in Poland wants to give us a rental car for the Ukraine so we have to take the train to Przelysm 13 km before the EU border. From there via taxi to the Ukraine border. Then WALK out of the EU and take another taxi on the other side to Lvov. Same thing back to the border on Friday with a train from Przelysm to Warsaw and from there back to Brussels. Loving it already. The border looks like fun. |
