I wouldn't mind having the one with the old font. I'll grab them all at some point, but I find no joy whatsoever in paying over the odds for my promos.

Wasn't there supposed to be a special US release of FCOL by Third Man Records on September 1st?

Yes I remember those articles, I was just wondering because you said special release. Doesn't seem like they're on Harvest anymore either. I wonder what went wrong this time.

There is no information that it was supposed to be different, but several press articles spoke about it like hereAnd there is indeed nothing on Third Man Records... The only thing I can think of that it may be, and it's only a very small chance. The next Vault package announcement is due around the 1st October, this would be vault package number 34 in the series (albeit a little later than the suggested date of September 1st), the reason I say small chance is that typically a vault package is normally an artist on or associated with Jack White and or Third Man Records and typically you would get releases by White Stripes, Raconteurs, Brendan Benson, The Dead Weather, Karen Elson etc. Only once have I known them deviate from the Third Man stable and that was when Pearl Jam played at the Third Man Live venue, and subsequently that came out as a vault package, but once again there was still a link there. With Kasabian I don't see a link which is strong enough to put more weight behind my "Thinking out loud suggestion". Only other option is, now that Jack White and Third Man have their own pressing plant now, they might have it lined up to come out as a standard release on the Third Man Label which would make more sense. Anyway, I think just watch this space at the moment and see what happens.

The first 1,000 people who pre-ordered the Me Plus One single in all three formats got the slipcase, as in just the cardboard thing. It turns up on Ebay very rarely, but it does.

I wondered also if you knew if there are any unsigned copies of re-wired around and if they did signed copies of goodbye kiss/ man of simple pleasures?

It always said "the first 1,000" were signed, which implies there were more than that, but I don't know how much they were really selling at that point, or if other shops were supplied with unsigned ones. vinylmojo do you know?

I'm sure that only two of them were sold pre-signed, otherwise I would own all four signed. I dug up the announcements for Goodbye Kiss and MoSP, there's nothing about them being signed. For comparison, here is Days. Maybe they could have been a competition prize from somewhere or signed at an event? The signatures look fine to me. There's a lot of variation in the signatures on those singles in particular anyway because they had to sign so many at once and got bored. I saved a few pictures because people kept receiving them with drawings and messages. If we're going to get all Sherlock on this, the ones you linked look like they were done in the exact same pen. Usually there's some difference because they don't necessarily sign them all in the same room together, for example the FCOL sleeves were sent to each band member in turn.

Sorry, just seen this mesage or would have replied earlier.
Just dug out those 10" singles from my archives and yes, you're absolutely right, only Re-Wired and Days are signed, and the other 2 aren't. Similar to yourself if there were signed copies around originally I would have definitely had those as well. I also never seen any un-signed copies anywhere, so my belief is that there are only signed copies in circulation for those ones.

Hi, I have this! I also have pretty much every single Kasabian vinyl new and sealed. Wanting to sell my collection now as unfortunately I’m in need of the money. I’d ideally like to sell everything to genuine Kasabian fans and not someone who wants to buy and sell on for a ridiculous price. If there’s anything anyone wants in particular I can see if I have it and would be happy to sell for a non-outrageous price. I’ll make a list of what I have in the next week and update here.
