Very nice, I like it. (puts it on his wants list immediately)  I've never seen a one, but I have similar promos from other Kasabian releases like this and I'd say this is definitely the Australian promo version of the album. You get maybe 2 or 3 pop up on Ebay over time, but very scarce and a very good find I can't believe that I own something that you don't have  ! I found it last week while browsing ebay Australia, so I believed this was an Australian promo, but I was not really sure. I'll let you know if ever I see another one. I also found (but haven't bought yet) a Japanese release whose number is BVCM-35340, which is sold as a 2008 promo release. Any idea of what this could be? |

That's the great thing about collecting, great items can pop up at any time sometimes taking years to track down and add to your collection, it's fantastic when something new appears whether you own it or not. The Japanese release you mention is based on this release KASABIAN, Kasabian, W/ 2 Bonus Tracks/ Enhanced CD/ Lower Price, Jul. 23 2008, COMPACT DISC, BVCM-35340, Japan The thing with Japanese listings is that quite often they use the words "Promo Sample" that quite often translates into a standard release, although sometimes it is an actual promo version of the item, its sometimes pot luck with what you get. It's normally best to get a few pictures of it to make sure beforehand. |

Does anybody else have white label Paradise 6 or knows anything about it? I've never seen it anywhere, and it looks like it's rare as Paradise 7. And speaking of Paradise 7, does anybody remember the legend from the old forum that there are only 25 of it?  |

I've got one of them I've just been checking Discogs and was surprised to see it hasn't been listed on there, I'll put that on my list of jobs for the weekend. I don't know an awful lot about it, what I do know is that you don't see these very often (much less than Paradise07), so that would suggest a mere handful of these in existence. Only 25 of Paradise07 now that's a lot lower than I would have thought, but that would explain why everyone goes nuts for this release both now and in the past. |

Who usually gets these promos first and when are they disturbed? Journalists and broadcasters usually get a copy a few months before the release. But these days it's often a temporary digital stream, like for example the guy who leaked the tracklisting last year had. It's probably safer than shipping out physical copies anyway. Although they're often watermarked, so if it does get out they know who it was. |

I have a personal (and completely unfounded) theory that there are 25 stamped ones and probable more plain white label ones (there is one on discogs currently btw if anybody is interested). At least I've seen more plain ones than stamped. And of course another Paradise07 myth is the pic from the official website which has been wrong for years now, they used to claim it's the same design as 06 but with inverted colours (but then again whole club foot page is a mess now)  |

There was an Ovary Stripe CD on ebay - I'm watching something else from the same seller and just noticed it went for £87. A bit too much isn't it? Definitely, and the Press Kit CD-Rom went for more than £50, which is a bit too much too! And, btw, I saw this as I am also following some things from this seller...I hope I am not going to compete with you ! This says it was given away at gigs, I've read elsewhere that it was sent out to Movement/fanclub members, or people who preordered the album or a certain single. |

The version of the story I keep hearing over and over the most is the one about movement/fanclub members receiving them, but I couldn't say for definite. |
