Got it now, it sounds and looks gorgeous - especially the Underdog remix, I love it so much.

I remember a few years ago paradise 6 and 7 were considered the rarest releases - but recently I keep seeing lots of paradise 6s on sale, there are always 5 or 6 on discogs and a few on ebay. I guess there are few west ryder era releases which are rarer now.

I never got the black Velociraptor promo, I only have the white one, which I'm really happy about (although I paid much more than planned) because I don't think I ever saw another on Ebay. There was someone selling a seemingly endless supply of the black promos at the time but somehow I never managed to get one.

Yeah, there was definitely plenty of the black promo's floating around at the time, i've just checked my old ebay e-mails to see what the price was on them, suprpisingly quite cheap as well, between £10 and £15 was the general price, I paid £10.50 for mine As for the white one, managed to also find my old e-mails for that one as well, only paid £14 for that one at the time, I didn't realise I got those 2 so cheap, so that was a nice trip down memory lane for me.

I'm just going to try and delete the memory of how much I paid... I know the black ones got quite cheap, but I think lots of stupid things happened, like being outbid at the last second or forgetting the time, so it's my own fault really. Hopefully someday.

Aw man, I downloaded this not long after the broadcast. I think it was from the official forum at the time. There was this bootleg thread that was full of stuff from TV and radio, mostly from a guy called "Madjim" (if I recall correctly). The copy I downloaded even had that "closing remarks" title, and the intro will have Steve Lamacq cutting in with "...but first!". Makes you wonder how many fan recorded boots will have unofficial prints across the world.

He lost interest in Kasabian at some point (was it after TiTP 2010 highroyds?) and sent lots of old bootlegs to us at 1212 when it still existed. I think they closed down the bootlegs thread in the old forum too at some point didn't they? It's such a great quality bootleg, I love it - and keep looking at that vinyl for a few days now. If only it was a bit cheaper...

Aye, we've spoken before about how odd the official web presence has always been.
"Control" let the thread run for years (even at times when there official material being shared...I think? Pretty sure I got Too Much Too Young from it) and then shut it down in 2009/10 perhaps. Then the board itself followed soon after.
On-topic; I'm still after the Man on Simple Pleasures EP actually. I've been lazy in looking for it. Kind of glad I got out of the collecting game, it's pretty much dead besides the (some of the) vinyl singles having PARADISE numbers.

They were definitely sharing official releases, when I dug up the Fast Fuse thread a while ago I saw that people were posting the radio rip of the song immediately after it was played for the first time. Considering how rare the vinyl is, it was probably most people's only way of listening to it, so it's bound to happen, but on an official forum? There was also someone who made a big torrent with all the released songs and advertised it all over the place. It's still around and I think that was how I got all the b-sides for the first time. I didn't really start collecting all the releases until maybe late 2009? Before that I only had the albums, as you would. And I don't think you can even buy the early b-sides digitally today.
The MOSP EP tends to be quite cheap on Amazon. Ebay prices are silly.
