If they wanted to make some psycho sci-fi adventure why didn't they just make it with original characters? Why use Sherlock Holmes? ACD is so glad he's dead right now. That's so true. They could easily use original characters especially for these series, because it nothing to do with the original books. I think the first ones were sort of loosely based on them so they kept the characters. I find Cumberbatch and his character so irritating but last night's episode was very entertaining and I liked the last twist. I did like the original idea, to adapt the stories into a modern setting, when it first started I wanted to watch it, never got around to it and then I was kind of put off by the hysterical fandom. But now it's like the writers have run out of ideas and just used some Tumblr fanfics instead of a script.

Has anybody seen the wolf of wall street? i watched it a few days ago and it's a good movie but i think people find it so exciting not because it's an amazing film, but it's about lots of money, sex and drugs.

I have Breaking Bad lined up to watch ,but I'm really into Damages which was originally on BBC2 I think but is being shown on Lifetime now season 3. A brilliant American series based on a law firm with Glenn Close.Theres not many series where I really can't wait for the next episode and gutted when it ends .But it's not a programme where you can join it after a couple of episodes or you won't have a clue what's going on.Also I love My Fat diary especially hearing the Charlatans. Wolf of wolf street was a bit long and what a scene to open the film with.It was ok but expected with all the reviews to be better. 12 years a slave now that is an outstanding film ,one of the best films I've ever seen even though it was very hard to watch .

Binge-watched Orange is the New Black this week (still down with the Brixton flu), was much better than I thought it will be. Really interesting and funny. Can't wait for the next season.
