My own little review of TV shows i've seen recently - The Hour has been the best thing I've seen in ages - so sophisticated, interesting and beautifully shot and I'm so gutted it's over. highroyds got me into NCIS recently, I'm halfway through the first season and hopelessly hooked. Watched all of Arrested Development a couple of month ago and it was quite enjoyable. I'm watching Downton Abbey now (getting more and more boring, somebody kill Mary and Bates pls) and By All Means which is quite alright. I liked everything about Sherlock (adore Andrew Scott) except Cumberbatch (shock horror!). Wanted to watch Whitechapel recently because it sounded interesting and good actors but it started with somebody's face being skinned so i gave up. Oh and I must be the only person who hasn't seen Breaking Bad.

NCIS is fantastic. I find it hard to keep up with TV shows long term but that one I've been watching religiously since the first episode. Great cast, great writing, great everything. Even if you think it might not be your thing, it might be your thing! My other big love is QI. Also enjoyed Luther and lots of American crime procedurals like all the CSIs and the Law & Orders. Some UK comedy shows like The IT Crowd, Ricky Gervais, Grandma's House, whatever Russell Brand does. I used to watch House and Grey's Anatomy but lost interest.
Not much of a movie person for some reason. I like things that are visually appealing and things that have Gary Oldman in them.

Even if you think it might not be your thing, it might be your thing! They should make it their motto. Totally applies to me.

I totally love David Lynch's movies! And my fav film is Mulholland Drive! I've a sort of obsession with that film lol Other films that I love always by Lynch are: Blue Velvet, Lost Highway and Inland Empire. 2 other great titles are: the german film The lives of others and the spanish one La Mala EducaciĆ²n.
I don't watch tv series because i don't have much time and there's not much of interesting on tv and... i hate reality shows and unnecessary talk shows! But generally italian television is awful, so i don't watch it.

Watched all 5 seasons of The Wire, back to back, earlier this year. Class. Walking Dead, Dexter, Battlestar Galactica, Homeland, Sopranos, Breaking Bad, The Returned and Game of Thrones have, or are, all been/being watched in our house.

Is anybody watching Masters of Sex? I missed first 2 episodes because I thought it's another channel 4 documentary about sex, but came across to it in the evening and was pleasantly surprised how good it was. Michael Sheen was great and Janis from Mean Girls is in it too and looking absolutely gorgeous! ( helzbelz I suspect you'd be a fan of this because of Michael Sheen?)

Last week itv showed a film on the Isle of Man tt races .If you haven't seen it I highly recommended you give it a go even if your not into motorbikes.I have never watched a programme which had Made me swear so much and couldn't believe at how many racers lose their lives every year and this film particularly follows one person called Guy ..and what a character he turned out to be ,a manx's equilvelent of Bradley Wiggins. Also The Escapist is proving a good watch featuring David Tennant.

Haha, I haven't seen Breaking Bad either. One of my all time favourite shows had to be Spaced, written by Simon Pegg and Jessica Hynes. It's 14 episodes of perfection and laced with references to movies etc. I would highly recommend. Dexter is another show I love, but after 7 years of watching, I was bitterly disappointing in the finale. It was terrible.
