Thanks ,i will be checking it out now and again.Im going to Banquet tomorrow to pick up The Family Rain I ordered weeks ago and will have to steer myself clear of the Virgin stuff ,cause if I see that Verve single I would find it very hard to resist it.Im so behind in buying music at the moment .I still haven't got AM yet and I'm wanting Arcade Fires new one,and Foals cd/dvd Both AM and Reflektor are must buys, 2 of my top records of the year, and by some way as well. When you listen to Arcade Fire you're just left wondering what just hit you, so much amazing music in 75 minutes. AM is no slouch either, it's excellent progression once again from Arctic Monkeys, i'm wondering if they can do anything wrong. I've got the Foals Vinyl/CD box from earlier in the year, love that album as well, that's easily in my top 10 of the year i'd say.

Ahhh, your making it worse.I am really leaning to getting Arcades fire one now ,I'm going to have a crafty listen later to see what's its like .I know it streamed last week but didn't get round to listen to it.I did get Holy Fire earlier in the year but I went to The RAH and would just love the DVD of it of which you can't buy it on its own. Banquet was selling the RSD Holy Fire for £16 the other day ,that's a bit of a bargain.I will post whether I did cave in to getting Reflektor.

It's a bit long winded but I've got AM today instead of Reflektor the reasoning is on What's pissed you of today. And Reflektor in Banquet was about £5-6 dearer than elsewhere ,so il leave it for another week or so.

I've obtained Reflektor and not really too sure about it yet ,but going by my track record if I'm not to keen on something at first it usually ends up being one of my faves and I haven't really digested it properly as its not your bog standard 45 minutes album.

Went to the reopened HMV store in Oxford street and was pleasantly surprised by a relatively decent vinyl section. Bought the remastered Sgt Pepper's for my son, we're listening to it now (and he's studying the chart of who is who on the cover), it's heavenly.

At the moment it is the most quality audio media. CD and FLAC are almost as good, but you can hear difference with, for example, classic music. And mp3 and other sh...t is just no way to listen to music. So LP will stay at least until a proper replacement is found, but who knows when it happens.

No I didn't get anything this time .I was looking at the Foals and of course QOTSA but after paying out for the Kasabian ticket and Xmas of course the funds aren't really available but the QOTSA did look smart and I'm really pleased with the Limited Jacknife poster that I got at Wembley. And I noticed that some were being released on Monday and not the Friday.

I'm in Manchester for a few days and went to their famous Vinyl exchange and Piccadilly records today. They didnt have any Kasabian but were selling basically everything Oasis have ever released. Got The Chemical Brothers' We Are The Night double LP quite cheap though.

Got my American coloured Chemical Brothers reissues today, electric blue Push The Button and white Dig Your Own Hole. Cost me a fortune with shipping and taxes but they're so pretty. Now regretting that I didn't buy more. Also bought The Shadow Puppet's Everything You've Come to Expect. Watching the girl on the label going round and round is quite mesmerising . Also I'm trying to buy a new record player, a decent vintage one with powerful speakers - but still no luck for a cheap one from ebay. And ordered a vinyl storage box in preparation for the new Kasabian album.

Got the new remixed Sgt Pepper's as a present, it looks and sounds so gorgeous, and absolutely love all the tiny studio outtakes on the bonus disk.
