We're probably all starting to miss Kasabian a bit - or a lot - by now, so I thought let's have a place to collect all our happy gig memories in the spirit of the Velociraptor tour memories people sent us on Tumblr a while back. Share your favourite moments, not only from the last tour but from any gig you attended, special songs, when and where did you see them, did anything out of the ordinary happen, how did it make you feel, tell us everything!

- First two times i've seen them live was at the 2007 and 2009 Lowlands festival in the Netherlands. I loved both of those gigs, i don't remember a lot from them, only me dancing and singing like a lunatic i guess that's what you get at festivals when you're mind's a bit out there haha! - March 3rd 2012 HMH Netherlands was really special to me, cause that was when they literally blew me away, it was the first time i saw them at a decent gig instead of a festival. I think the sound is always better at a normal gig and the way the songs thundered through my whole body and brain and the chemistry on stage between the guys, it made me wrap my arms around this band really tightly and not planning to let go! I will never forget that that night i heard "pistols at dawn" live, it will probably not happen again, but i'm so glad i heard it there and then! - Lowlands festival 2012, hot hot hot! 43 degrees inside that ****-ing tent! but amazing to see so much energy from band and crowd with that kind of temperature! - November 24th 2012 Brussels Belgium, perfect, pretty big venue, but front row amazingly close to the stage and amazing atmosphere! Crowdsurfer with ET-mask = mega smilling Tom! - June 21st 2013 Paradiso A'dam Netherlands, it's one of my fave venues in Holland, it's tiny and it's cosy. Perfect gig, perfect crowd, perfect night. It was the first time i met the band and i still can't believe how sweet and kind and patient they are. - June 29th 2013 HRC-festival London, will never forget this gig, i had never seen them with such a big crowd! Me and my best Kasabian-bud Shaz pushed against the barrier like some squeezed tomatoes, what a night (well, day). The whole stage being white looked so magical, and i didn't expect too much of the sound because it was so mega big and outside, but omg the sound was amazing! And as always the band we're perfection. I could go on forever, but it would be too much After seeing Kasabian a couple of times i have to say they are one of the best live bands i've ever seen in my life. Their live-sound is perfection, Tom's voice is always amazing live, the chemistry between the guys makes you feel warm inside, the crowds are always amazing. Going to a Kasabian-gig is just the best!

Pistols must have been amazing! I never got to hear it live, we were at the gig in Berlin the day after Amsterdam which was cancelled last minute, they probably would have played it there but I had a feeling that by the time they rescheduled it they'd forget all about it. Maybe one day.
Funnily enough I didn't have too high expectations of HRC either. We only went because I was in London anyway, I kind of considered Bridlington the "proper" gig, and then we did HRC too because might as well. I thought it would be like Hackney Weekend, which was apparently a bit underwhelming. In the end it was perfect, the perfect ending.

The first time I saw Kasabian was 14th July 2012, in Ferrara, Italy and it was amazing!! I didn't know much about them, I knew only some songs, because it was only 1 week that I started to listen to them. And they didn't disappointed me at all! Favourite moments: Sergio singing Everybody's gotta learn sometime (that completely destroyed my mental sanity and from that moment Sergio Pizzorno ruined my life, lol) then, Tom dedicated Man of Simple Pleasures to the earthquake victims of my city and we sang happy birthday to Tom's dad. The second and last time (until now) that I saw the band was in Milan, on 30th May 2013 and that was the happiest day of my life. Huge crowd, magic location in front of the Dome (wow, I had never been there before!) I waited for them even under the hailstorm! The gig was so...so wonderful that i can't even describe it, I had missed the guys so much. Favourite moments: finally i could hear La Fee Verte live *-*, Tom acting like he was God, with his shiny jacket lol. After the gig I've been lucky enough to meet Sergio and that was my biggest dream because he's my idol and everything :') he treated me and the other fans so sweetly and kindly that I admire that man even more. And there's another beautiful thing: my mum was there with me and that made me so happy. I also saw Sergio on New Year's Eve in Bologna, for the Dj Set, so I started the year in a perfect way :3 He was on a high balcony of a palace and put on a lot of great songs! He was a bit far but his smile could enlight all the square, his presence made me very happy. The only bad thing was that... it was FULL of drunk , and I mean REALLY drunk, people and could be a bit dangerous. I think the majority of people was there to make chaos and get drunk, not really for Sergio, but it's ok it was beautiful anyway.

- Being at the first and last gigs of the Velociraptor tour was amazing - Sheffield and Brussels, and then again at Hard Rock Calling.
- Hearing Velociraptor and Switchblade Smiles the first time they were played, and the band being so incredibly happy to be back on stage.
- The West Ryder arena tour will forever be one of my favourite memories and I'm so, so glad I went because everything about it was unreal. Hearing Ladies & Gentlemen and Silver Bullet.
- The Berlin Live taping in September 2011. It's a German TV show where they have three bands on, each playing a small set, sort of like a mini festival but inside a strange venue and filmed for TV. Kasabian were on and I won tickets, there were only about 200 people there, it was weird and very special, because the three bands took turns playing and while they were waiting they just sat around on stage and I got to stare at them the whole time. Best thing ever.
- All the times I've met the band, they were always the bestest, nicest, most patient, most wonderful people. They care so much, they do so much more than they have to, they remember, they care if you're okay, they stop even if they're tired and already half on the bus, and you're not even asking for anything and they talk to you anyway. I couldn't be more grateful.
- Isle of Wight 2011. We stood in the rain for 13 hours and I got to a point where I was convinced they couldn't possibly make it worth it, I had officially reached the limit of my love. They turned up, the rain stopped, it was amazing, would do again.
- I love sitting outside a venue and hearing them soundcheck. It's like a little private performance where there's only five people there, and most of the time it's Serge singing the songs, so that's really nice.
- First gig of the 2011 arena tour, the intro with the rotating logo, not knowing what's going to happen, Tom being on the screen at first and then appearing in a flash, like a magic trick. The beautiful Take Aim visuals.
I'll return with more.

I don't think I've ever been colder or more miserable but they turned up and fixed it in 10 seconds.

I would do it again if it was something super special or the only chance to see them, and if there's somewhere to stay that isn't a tent.

Mmmm IOW was certainley one to remember.I took my daughter and it was her first festie at 10 years old and I can still see her miserable face.We spent most of the day in the Big Top and ventured out around 630pm and good on the people who stood at the main stage that sodden day.I enjoyed BE and Liam's parka but I just wanted Kasabian on so we could have a good singalong and jump around to warm ourselves up.And we certainley warmed up seeing the steam coming off us is one that I won't forget and the sodden trousers literally falling down with the weight of the rain ,no we didn't have proper waterproofs. My other memory is war child what a night that was ,being so close to them and them winning Best Band and to go home and watch Tom doing his infamous fall ,and just loving him even more for it.

The sight of Liam'a parka was what brought us back to life. We did buy raincoats but they didn't even last until Pixie Lott. Kasabian, I endured Pixie Lott for you. Please love me.

Reading all this REALLY makes me wanna see them live. I wonder when I'll go to my first Kasabian gig Ah, another one who has not yet seen them live. I was beginning to feel lonely. I'm hoping that they will tour the next album worldwide and come to my city (Vienna) or at least near it when I have time to take some off.

I had lost them a bit out of sight over the past few years (a shame, I know) and just discovered them again last year. I was very frustrated that this year they came to the Tyrol and then Munich. So near and yet so far, as I could not make it there, then.
