The day before in Notts Tom's mic didin't work during Switchblade and Vlad. I think they didn't even realize.

That arena tour was eventful wasn't it? Ben's keyboard died in the beginning of Switchblade Smiles in Brighton, but Serge did the best scream ever instead to cover it up. Chris' bass guitar strap broke in Liverpool too but he sat on the floor and continued to play.

I didn't even realize the power cut. It was one of my first gigs in England and I took it a bit too far the second evening (1st Notts 2, 2nd Liverpool) :-)

What has been your favourite tour moment of 2017? Well, i attended only one gig (Amsterdam), so it was instantly my favourite tour moment;) I must say they made some positive adjustments to the performance, like intro's, outro's, mixes, etc. to make great songs sound even better. So Kasabian was and stays my number one live band!

Inmusic Festival in Zagreb. The only gig of the 2017 tour and my second Kasabian gig ever. This was their very first summer gig after that small UK spring tour, so the setlist wasn't so fixed yet. I remember standing at the barrier with the girls, one from Czech Republic and another from Poland. We were discussing the setlist and trying to guess the set opener. When the band walked on stage with that heart rate sound and the LCD heart went red and blinking everyone in the crowd went mental and reached the peak of excitement, Kasabian kicked it off with Ill Ray. Massive. I was singing every word and a few times during the set got an eye contact with Tom, I think I'll never forget it. It was the hardest gig in my life, I mean physically, especially closer to the end of the show. There were a few guys behind me who tried to push me out of the barrier, kicked me in the back and legs surreptitiously and to every polite (POLITE at that point in time) objection I made I got an answer 'shut the fuck up'. Sometimes I do not understand people. It was a dream come true to hear I.D. live, I couldn't believe my ears when the band started to play this. Such a gorgeous song. After the gig me and those girls were waiting for the setlists, and Rick himself came down. The girls got the lists, I didn't but it was completely ok. What a memorable festival.
