Fire was certified platinum, according to BPI. Let's hope 48:13 is next. (And it should be next, it lacks like 10K for the platinum)

In the albums chart Kasabian’s For Crying Out Loud has opened up a healthy lead ahead of Ed Sheeran’s ÷. The Leicester band have shifted 39,836 copies so far, while Sheeran posts a figure of 19,396. Rag’N’Bone Man’s Human holds firm at No.3 on 11,301 sales, ahead of Blondie’s Pollinator, which enters at No.4 on 7,563 sales. Behind them all, Gorillaz’s Humanz slides 2-5.

YES, they are gonna do it! They are gonna stop Ed's streak! (I know it lacks streaming, but Ed streamed 18K units last week, the boys already have a 20K lead, it isn't gonna bail him out this time). Won't be the first time Kasabian kick Ed from the top either.

Hopefully they hold the No 1 position, going to try and stream the album as much as possible instead of listen to my CD 😂

Harry Styles is releasing his album on the 12th. That might be somewhat popular with the kids.

Harry Styles is releasing his album on the 12th. That might be somewhat popular with the kids. Doubt they were gonna have a second week at #1 anyway. The lead is slightly down to 17K, still should be enough. 48:13 and Velociraptor! (!) re-entered the chart as well. This might be the week 48:13 goes platinum finally.

And the lead is cut again, this time to 14K. Still highly unlikely that Ed will catch them, he has 2 days to do so, although the margin will be smaller than initially thought. (As of now, FCOL sits at 45K, Ed sits on 31K, Ed should finish around 45K, FCOL around 50K)

If just sales were counted in the singles charts, YILWAP is currently at #36 and CK is at #84

48:13 is apparently 5K away from Platinum. Should get it in about a couple of months.

#7 in the new midweek updates, although this is quite possibly one of the strongest weeks of the year with Harry Styles, J Hus, Paramore, and Paul Weller all releasing new albums, for comparison last week sales would have the boys at #2.
They might still break into the top 5 though, if Hus' and Weller's sales have been mostly during first half of the week (Like the boys' were). If they still sell 3K a day that'd mean 20K a week and that should mean #5.
If by a chance the pace picks up then they might have a shot at breaking the top 3, but I wouldn't hold my breath on this one.
