highroyds Have you managed to get tickets to see The National? I was struggling with Ticketmaster today and there wasn't such option as 'e-ticket' for some reason, only 'delivery by regular post'. I'm puzzled, this is ridiculous. Did I miss something in the world? Is it a new policy to prevent from reselling of the tickets? Out of curiosity checked Eventim operator, for Kasabian shows in Germany there is also no electronic tickets. What's going on?

The Hamburg gig doesn't go on sale until June because it's part some special thing Bryce is curating at the venue, so I have no idea what's happening with the other ones, sorry. I remember Eventim having no e-ticket option on the last German Kasabian tour either and everyone was pissed off that they had to pay a fortune in shipping. Do you know someone in the country whose address you can have the tickets sent to?

Do you know someone in the country whose address you can have the tickets sent to? So the very same story now. Every Kasabian show in Germany doesn't have e-ticket option, I've seen it only available for Vienna show. No, don't have anybody in Berlin at all unfortunately.

If I got this correct: for Hamburg a registration is necessary. This can be done between June 12th and July 1st. Weird procedure.

I've just started listening to them and I wonder why the hell I hadn't already. They do sound amazing.

The album is really good but I don't feel it as much as I feel Trouble Will Find Me. SWB is quite complicated, the smartest music they've ever created. I'm going to listen to it over and over again trying to understand the big picture. Actually, the situation reminds me of Bon Iver, when he was doing music with live instruments most of his life but the latest record is completely different and electronic and computer-made.

Personally,I just listened to their new album once or two for now, because I wanted to start exploring their discography from the beginning.

Don't think you'll find anything good on their first two records. Things start getting legit only on Cherry Tree EP, released in 2004. It features brilliant About Today.

Don't think you'll find anything good on their first two records. That's your opinion. I love the first two albums and think they're full of underrated songs. John's Star, 29 Years, It Never Happened, 90 Mile Water Wall, Lucky You... some of my all time favourites.
