Ian was playing a Zeppelin covers gig 2 days ago in a tiny gastropub lost in the woods near Henley, and it was the best start to 2017 I could wish for. 18 gorgeous songs, with some excellent musicians and Ian was just brilliant. They left him alone, proper Zeppelin-style for like 10 minutes for a Moby Dick solo, it was so much fun to watch. He sounded just like Bonzo, loud and beautiful. I was worried the pub's beams would come down when he started on Immigrant Song He had the red West Ryder drumkit and I was allowed to sit behind it and have picture Here is one of my favourite things in the world, I'll upload some more bits and pieces later.

More Ian channeling his inner Bonzo from yesterday's gig in Bristol. It was such fun, exciting gig

So I was listening to the airplane gig, Ian's drums sound so fucking good there (Especially the snare drum). What's your favorite kit of Ian?
