Now the tour has officially started and it looks like they are bringing back some rare songs, like Running Battle, is there anything you'd like to see them play again? I'd love for 55 or U Boat to come back, they could make them so big now.

I would absolutely LOVE to have Last Trip (In Flight) straight into Me Plus One. That would probably be the greatest moment for me at a gig EVER. haha
But if I get to hear Me Plus One on this next tour, I'll be SO happy. I've been waiting a LONG time.

From the debut album era, I'd go for 55, Test Transmission and U Boat (which would be perfect in that Thick as Thieves/Black Whistler/Me Plus One rotating slot).
From Empire, Sun Rise Light Flies (which would make a nice replacement for Shoot the Runner), Seek and Destroy (underrated live) and I'd love a cheeky debut of Ketang. It's a great burst of energy.
From West Ryder, Secret Alphabets (obviously) and maybe a performance or two of Happiness. The touring singers would lend a good backing I'm sure.
And from the Velociraptor! era, How about giving Acid Turkish Bath it's debut?
I'd most like the rotating of the setlist to continue. They started some good precedents by bringing back British Legion, Black Whistler and debuting Pistols at Dawn in recent years.
There are a few songs that I wouldn't mind being rested for a tour. Shoot the Runner, Re-wired and Where Did All the Love Go? spring to mind.

Acid Turkish Bath is just made to be played live, I really hope we'll hear it live one day because it's an amazing song. I wouldn't mind if Empire is dropped sometimes too. I saw people were not very happy about LSF being dropped in Paris, and while I love that song, if it means Running Battle and Me Plus One coming back, please do drop one of the big tunes any time. You're so right about the rotation, it'll be great if they keep doing that. The little Empire-era revival last year was so special to witness, they should bring back more songs. I'd love to see Tim and Ben playing on some older songs, like Butcher Blues. I'd love to see Ovary Stripe, By My Side, Apnoea, Secret Alphabets and Let's Roll in the setlist again, but the song I miss most live is The Doberman. |

Rotation, rotation and more rotation, basically enough that I wont have any idea about what they are gonna play.
As far as specific tunes are concerned, U Boat and Secret Alphabets in Victoria Park please.

The one I really want to hear most is Butcher Blues,as that is my favourite song and it would fit in perfectly at Summer Solstice.

No doubt they'll want an arm swinging one so bringing back Doberman would fit this .
I know it's a tour list thread but with Summer Solstice do you think it's going to be mainly the stuff everyone knows with 5 newies thrown in or will we get 2 or 3 rare ones.
As with HRC it was a right crowd mix and expecting maybe the same with SS or will it be a Glasto warm up?.
So many questions .

I love Running Battle so much, I'm glad that it's back. Well, it's not like I can see them live in my country ever, but still. Other than that, Mothman and Processed Beats.
