Nme again. They're a 'Leicester duo' and 'Serge Pizzorno and Tom Meighan have practically written an entire album specifically for the occasion' (i.e. Glasto) 'Leicester duo'? Really??? Who are the people who are writing this? To be honest it would be so sad if it wasn't so funny;) A joke of the week for me.

Not from the press, but Aitor himself said in a recent interview that Kasabian get compared to Oasis so much because "they are Northeners and there's two of them"

After 'I.D.', Pizzorno performed a slow, moody cover of Gnarls Barkley's 'Crazy' with just guitar and trumpet, with Meighan off stage. He then took vocals on the next track, 'Let's Roll Like We Used To', too, but accompanied this time by the full band. From NME

"If you've ever wondered who "the other two" in Kasabian are, and I don't imagine many of you have, I can reveal they're bassist Chris Edwards and drummer Ian Matthews. See? Even their names are unmemorable. Sadface." xIs this supposed to be funny?

Or are they referring to Noel as a furry muppet Oh most probably yes, but still sounds weird and rude.

Both Gigwise and NME have no idea that it's not 'Take A Bow' but 'Bow'. They both reported the iTunes setlist like that. Some idiot wrote the song title down like that once and now everybody is copying.

Not press, but does anyone else find it a bit inappropriate that Ebay is full of Serge's word t-shirts including the one saying Wilfred? Of course it's the most convenient design ever for the merch bootleggers, and I don't really care if people want to buy one saying crabstick in the wrong font, but how about we leave his hospitalised grandfather alone.

That NME Glasto review was just ridiculous and I wrote a scathing reply. I for one am really disconcerted with all the attention being directed at Serge with the other members (including Tom) being increasingly shunted off to the side. Ian and Chris don't even attaned interviews anymore. This really wories and upsets me. As much as I adore Serge, he is not the band They are all significant and Kasabian wuold be NOTHING without them.
And these stills for the new video. So it's only Serge there? Why doesn't he just go solo then!

I'm not that worried about Tom and Serge doing the interviews, i think it was always the agreement that they're doing the promo, but I wish there were more interviews with everybody. Ian gets his drumming magazine interviews sometimes which are always more interesting than Q or NME interviews, but I wish we would hear more from Chris too. I agree totally that NME is not even aware of other people being in Kasabian, didn't they call them a Leicester duo recently? Covers are only Tom and Serge, and the last time they were taking everybody's pics, Ian and Chris are holding the stupid skulls in front of their faces.
But NME is just a stupid mag and I don't have any expectations, and when their own designer focuses only on one person, that's worrying.
