In this latest interview with Rolling Stone Russia, Serge mentions writing an 'excellent new song'. He talks about comfort killing creativity, and says that he was sitting in his studio recently, when he had a wave of bliss. He was very unsettled by this feeling of helplessness and bliss so much that he wanted to create some havoc around him, and while in that state, he wrote that song.

Disturb the comfortable. The luxury of being annoyed that you're happy. Wanna swap?

I didn't know in which topic to post this so please let it be here. This is a short piece from the 1992 movie called 'Baraka' and approximately on 50 second starts playing the current Kasabian intro for the show. So I mean, the music is from that movie. I'm not who has discovered this so this is the original post (in Oasis VK community lol) And I'm sorry if it is known already

Very interesting stepstr, I really wanted to know what is it since hearing it in Groningen. If only to know what to call it instead of saying 'the creepy intro'

However, now we can be sure that it's not Torture In D Minor haha

They ask some questions about the next album here, Serge is being vague as always, 'I'm always writing' etc. But it's interesting that he doesn't sound very definite that he wants to produce on his own again. He says he might get somebody else, 'some maniac', because it'll be interesting to see what they can add. Then the interviewer asks whether he has somebody in mind, and Tom immediately goes 'probably me!'

I think they're trying to be careful not to be too definite at the moment, because even without saying "yes we're working on it" they're already being asked all the time. There's definitely something, they told us themselves so it's not even speculation. But I guess in the early stages they don't want to be asked what it sounds like and when it's coming out all the time. It's like you don't tell people you're pregnant right away.

Isn't this Album supposed to be more "organic" and less electric? And would be interesting whether someone else produces the Album...
