That I should live to see the day. Tom has been posting and replying to lots of comments today. He now follows a few more people but nobody Kasabian related. I really want him to thrive and do what makes him happy but I also think I might die if they never get back together. *Don't Look Back In Anger plays softly in the distance* http://instagram.com/p/CFhUCjXnn9Z

This really made my day. Love to see him happy again, posting and commenting. He and Vikki seem to be in a very good place now. Everyone deserves happiness.

It’s a relief to see some positive messages from Tom on Instagram. There was constant worrying over the past few months about Tom, his lady and his family because of all the media pressure, online bullying and some strangers on Internet aggressively commenting on their private lives. Hope the tough times came to an end, and they all feel better now.
It will be great if his management get his social media accounts verified. There were some fraudsters on Facebook and Instagram with fake Tom’s profiles in July. I heard they were trying to steal ID or credit cards information from fans.

I hope they give him moral support in his treatment privately, and online actions don’t reflect their real relationships. And I hope they will reunite with him after him finishing the treatment/releasing a solo material (I think his solo album is like a part of therapy). I can’t imagine Kasabian without Tom. I want to believe that a quarter-of-a-century relationship with the man who loved, supported them and made them successful will win over the money.

I also hope their friendship will survive, but let's not forget that he committed a crime. It's not like they just kicked him out for no reason.

I didn’t step up against the band’s decision to part the ways with Tom professionally. Nor I condoned Tom’s actions in any way. What I meant was that the person who doesn’t just commit a crime but shows a genuine remorse, follows a path of correction and does everything to change themselves needs moral support. And maybe if Tom changes himself they will be together again.

It all feels a bit calculated. He has the new management that seems very present, I wouldn't be surprised if they advised him to connect with his fans. Call me cynical but people are going to follow and comment if there's a big chance he'll reply, right? And the most recent post. I'm not saying he isn't being sincere, it just all seems so unlike him. Then again, you know, a few other things seemed unlike him.

To be fair - it’s pretty much the only way musicians can connect with fans at the moment. Liam Gallagher is a master at it and tweets a lot and the fans go into a frenzy just to get a reaction. I kind of agree with you but I am still pretty pleased that I got a ‘like’!!

For me, the account is clearly run by the management with Tom sending them pictures to upload etc, BUT I’m just glad it allows for some sort of interaction with fans. As shit as it can be, social media is the best way to interact with fans these days.

My first impulse when I saw he was replying to comments was to write something. I was desperate for them to interact and be more in touch with their fans all these years, and now he's right there but it's all so messed up I can't even say anything.

Ugh I wish I could be excited about this, we’ve been speculating for *years* what a solo project from Tom would be like. But it just feels too soon. I’m glad for him that he’s making music, it can be very therapeutic. But it looks like the new management company is behind this, as others here have said. His court appearance was only 3 months ago!!! Of course I want Tom to be ok, but it just feels wrong that this management team are pushing his solo career/sudden social media presence when (for me) the horrific details about what he was convicted for are still fresh in my mind. Sorry to be such a downer. Still can’t get my head around any of it.
