More posts of mine deleted in this thread. Truly disgraceful. You didn't even post in this thread. Are you possibly looking for this?

I feel British Legion is awfully underrated. Should have been the best song of the year. You said it.

Empire was released 9 years ago today. Can we have a moment of appreciation for this gorgeous baby - I always feel that it's their least loved album.

I think it's the one I listen to the least. I don't know why though, it has some of my favourite songs on it.

The Doberman, British Legion, and By My Side.
By My Side really saves the middle section of the album from mediocrity. Stuntman wouldn't be half as good without the dark but hopeful energy of that song.
British Legion is just plain beautiful. Why they haven't played around more with acoustic on their albums is beyond me, because they're freaking brilliant at it.
The Doberman is the song that makes me replay the album as soon as it is finished. All memory of the mediocre middle section is temporarily erased as I'm left contemplating the journey I just went on for 37 minutes and realize the highs and lows were more than worth it to arrive at this masterpiece.

I agree so much with this - I keep saying they should do what the Coral did for Butterfly House and release a full acoustic version of one of their albums (West Ryder or Raptor ideally. Acoustic Switchblade Smiles, wouldnt it be beautiful?).

All of that crazy distilled into raw acoustic energy. It would be a dream come true

They've played Days acoustically many times, and it's lovely, it becomes a completely different song. I would absolutely love hear acoustic Velocirpator (the song). I keep thinking it'll be so much fun, like that version of acoustic Fast Fuse.
But back to Empire - I agree with you that the Doberman is one of the best things they've written, and absolutely perfect; but i also love the middle bit of the album - Sun Rise and Apnoea especially. I wish they'd play them again.

The Doberman British Legion By My Side
All 3 of these are some of the best songs the band have ever made to date. The Doberman is their best ending track ever. Hands down. British Legion just reinforces how perfect the ending of "Empire" is. Serge's voice on this is stellar. That acoustic guitar is beautiful. So glad they brought in more acoustic for some of the tracks on FCOL. By My Side might be the most underrated track in their catalog. Arresting from the opening notes. So complex. So brilliant.

1)The Doperman(by far the best and one of their best in general. It has a zeppelin vibe) 2)Me Plus One 3)Last Trip (In Flight) If we could choose for the worst I'd probably say ''Apnea''.One of the few songs by Kasabian that I usually skip.

Interesting results at the moment. Three second places and everyone's favourite they don't play.

This is a tough one, I'd go with Doberman, even though I don't listen to it as often as some tracks on the album
