Without a poll this time - what's your favourite opening track on an album? Club Foot, Empire, Underdog, Let's Roll, Shiva/Bumblebeee or Ill Ray?

I probably love Underdog the most as a song, but in its position as an opener Club Foot is hard to beat. It was their biggest song at the time and they just casually got that out of the way.

Club Foot obviously deserves a special status because it's bloody amazing, but in a way I think it would have worked anywhere on the first album - they could have opened with Reason is Treason, Processed Beats or Ovary Stripe and it still would have been great.

Underdog or Ill Ray are my favourite openers, and both are mindblowingly good songs, but if I had to choose one, it'd be Let's Roll
