I'm a bit obsessed with the idea of Kasabian covering Candy Says by The Velvet Underground, pretty much trying to plant that seed before the next Live Lounge. Anyone else have any particular musical fantasies?

I've been saying this for years now, but I'd love Serge to sing Playground Love by Air. Also I'd love if they cover anything by The Beatles, especially White Album and any of the later albums. A Day In The Life, just to hear Ian playing the drum parts and can you imagine what Ben would do with the keys. I love Zeppelin and constantly fantacise about Kasabian covering them, again, anything really - especially Babe I'm Gonna Leave You, Four Sticks, Custard Pie, Going To California. Also I think Aqualung by Jethro Tull is something which will suit them so perfectly, I can just hear it in my head performed by them. |

Something from Pink Floyd? For example, "Have a Cigar" or "Welcome to the Machine"?
Also "Give Up Your Gun" from "The Buoys".
And something from "Depeche Mode" as well, like "I Feel You"

Sea and Sand (Ever since Tom did a bit of it at that Quadrophenia thing I've been wanting him to sing the whole song) Am i the only one who thinks "Sea and Sand" sounds a lot like Led Zeppelin song? I mean, if Robert Plant sang it and you did not know it is The Who, would you be surprised?  |

I'd love to see Tim doing the guitar solo. I love Melancholy Hill too, one of my favourites from Plastic Beach. Who do you think should sing it, Tom or Serge? Or both? |

I would like Tom to cover Comfortably Numb and Serge to cover On Melancholy Hill.
Tom has that tone which suits Comfortably Numb and Serge would sound beautiful singing, "If you can't get what you want, then you come with me."
