I am terribly embarrassed to call myself a true fan now, but... I have just discovered the world of B-Sides. I know, I know.... SHAME! SHAME! SHAME!
Blame it on being on the wrong side of the ocean, or no access to the old amazing record stores that used to carry imports and foster obsessive collecting, or having kids, or most likely me slipping in my old age.... they're damn near my favorite band (technically beatles hold No. 1... but...) and I haven't a single b-side.
Where do I start?! I've discovered a youtube playlist that's pulled near 60 of them together, but I need to get them into my collection/onto my ipod.
Do you know of any releases that have a few good ones in one fell swoop? Have any recommendations for a beginner to the b-sides? I assume I'll have to try ebay or amazon, but any suggestions for releases to look for would be insanely appreciated.
Thanks in advance. =)

90-95% of their b-sides are amazing but my top 5 (in no particular order) would have to be Stay Away From The Brown Acid, Julie & The Mothman, Pistols At Dawn, Ketang, and The Tiger (this last one is technically DJ Shadow feat. Sergio Pizzorno and Kris Karloff). From there, just listen to any of them and hopefully enjoy!

Here is a list of all the b-sides, minus remixes and live versions, maybe that helps a bit. Unfortunately there is no official b-sides compilation. If you're looking for some recommendations to start with you might want to have a look at this poll and check out people's favourites.

Have not been able to track down The Duke though. A b-sides compilation would be amazing someday.
