I saw them live last night for the first time at Brixton academy and enjoyed it so much. I like them a lot and they are one of very few bands that made me want to go to their gigs. Tom Smith's voice is just incredible, he's so tiny and thin, then he starts singing and this deep gorgeous voice comes out of him. And all the rest are mindblowing musicians too. Fell in love a bit more with the new album songs after hearing them live, I've always liked 2 Hearted Spider but live it was so much better than I could imagine. Sugar is my current favourite, they opened with it and it was so beautiful.
Who likes them here? Have you seen them live? Favourite songs?

I love their second album a lot. A bit underwhelmed by the new one at first, but then it really grew on me. Beautiful voice, beautiful music. Two Hearted Spider is really lovely, although I wish they hadn't changed the lyrics for the album version. Here's the old one:

I would of loved to seen them at Brixton but so many gigs were announced for November and could only afford 3 and that was really pushing it so had to miss out this time .But got to see them at Reading this year so I'm just thankful for that really .But they are one band that is on my list to see not including festie performances.And they are being played now on XFM just to rub it in a bit more.

I saw them live twice, missed the first few songs twice!!! I wanna see them again, full-gig this time  I love them, and Tom's an amazing live performer. |

Here's the old one: And this one as well That version of No Sound But The Wind is one of my favourite live recordings ever. Tom Smith has the best voice around at the moment. Editors are one of my favourite bands, it wasn't till I saw them live that I realised how good they were. I've seen them live 3 times but the first time I don't really remember as I was very drunk. The other two times were when they released their last two albums. Bricks and Mortar is probably my favourite song by them. |

I like the new song but I'm waiting for it to burst in to life and get quicker. I'd imagine the following track on album will be more up tempo.
Hints of 3rd album I think which is probably my favourite one they've released.

But I am although thinking about the last gig of their tour in Bordeaux in December, as I have a few friends to visit there...

Just pre-ordered our tickets for the Paris gig in October from their official website, they will be officially for sale tomorrow morning, but as I wont't be near my PC tomorrow morning, I wanted to be sure to get them! As they play in a beautiful but small venue (1500 persons max), I didn't want to miss it  I don't think they are very popular in France, sadly, cause they would deserve to be |
