Roxette?! Really?! Sorry but I think the Stone Roses are the biggest influence on this track. The end part of the (radio cut version) of I am the Resurrection. But what a great song to be influenced by! Serge's "mumbly bit" bless him, I think he writes bits in for himself to sing to the crowd during gigs. I mean, it's his songs, and his band,but he should have faith in Tom. Serge's own songs work so well when it's just him, I can't imagine a song with just his vocals where there's suddenly a bridge where Tom comes in (correct me if I'm wrong guys!). The song is still growing on me but I still hate that mumble in the breakdown. The chorus is very euphoric. |

They were going to release the album in 2016, I suppose around the time of the game release or shortly after. Then the album got postponed, but they probably had a deal with FIFA at that point and it was "released" like that, which was a bit unfortunate. |

I think my initial reaction was the right one. Great tune but it doesn't even crack the top half of the album in terms of quality. It feels too much like they wanted a guaranteed banger on the album just in case people didn't dig the new sound. All that said, what a banger it is! If the mix didn't get so jumbled during the chorus, it would stand out to me more. As it is, it would be a smash hit on any of their previous albums.

I would like to upload a proper studio version of the song on Youtube since there isn't one also the band either doesn't seem to care about it even though it is a single(?).Does anyone knows if it is going to get removed?
