I've seen so many rubbish top songs lists but I found this one amusing. If you don't feel like going through the list like I did, I can tell you that roughly half of the ~Top songs~ were written by The Killers+Arctic Monkeys+Muse. The few remaining ones are by Oasis, Mumfords and The Stones. There was a Beatles song as well if I remember correctly. And yep, no Kasabian.

Well, all of those lists are for radio-friendly music, so to me they cannot be objective per definition. There will always be some good songs in the lists, but in general they are very narrow-minded. I mean as long as you see for example Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin in the same list with Coldplay and Rianna, you know something is wrong.

They definitely didn't have any Zeppelin at all, nevermind next to coldplay

Does someone have a suggestion for an alternative (online) radio channel to Radio X which is playing the same kind of music? (Libertines, Kasabian, QOTSA, Muse, Oasis, New Order, Stereophonics .....)
I liked XFM London a lot and think Radio X is still quite ok but there's too much talking and too many commercials for me.

Thank you. Found another good one: Spoon Radio I looked through their current playlist including bands like Bring Me The Horizon, Disturbed and Enter Shikari, this is actually a daring choice for a radio! They might only wanna drop Coldplay, but this this a manor thing - I like this channel already;) Could be a good alternative for pinguinradio.
