I'm very excited about the new Coral album coming next year, and a tiny bit about Underworld.
Oh and possibly Kasabian?

Skunk Anansie promised a new album. Hope will be as good as the last two.

Yep, I'm looking fowrard to The Last Shadow Puppets one too.
As ever, I'm hoping for a Brendan Benson album (it's about time). A new Temples album would be great.
I almost daren't hope that the next Kasabian album will be out in 2016, but seeing as they're recording and that...

I almost daren't hope that the next Kasabian album will be out in 2016, but seeing as they're recording and that... I don't think it's unlikely. Serge was working on it as early as January 2015, possibly even sooner, he told cuttoff that it's the best thing ever and all. We had it personally confirmed again in May that he's recording. Not even a vague "oh you know Serge is always writing" but it sounded very definite. We had the shortest ever second year of a tour, probably because he was already recording, which he always said he doesn't usually do while they're still touring. But maybe he had some kind of inspiration explosion that couldn't be postponed, I'm not complaining. I think it's well underway. /offtopic

I realise to some extent it's reading tealeaves but it is looking promising. Back sort-of on topic, dunno if you saw that on one of the El Vy live facebook thingummy's Matt Berninger said they'd be no new National album in 2016 but they will start playing some new songs live, which I'm looking forward to, obv.

Life of agony - A place where there's no more pain
No date yet, but the sooner the better. They are one of my favorite bands since youth and especially "Broken Valley" is one of my most beloved albums ever and it's been way too long.

Two very exciting albums recently out for me.
Last Friday, Telegram released their debut album, 'Operator', and I absolutely LOVE it.
I've been following them for two and a half years so I've had a looong wait. More than worth it, great piece of work from them (although it does need two or three listens through to be appreciated, in my opinion) and may well end up being my album of the year.
Yesterday. Kula Shaker released 'K2.0'. I'm seeing them tonight so I spent yesterday playing it on repeat. Really enjoying it.

The Kills just announced a new album in June! I'm glad they're back, I didn't like the last Dead Weather album as much as the first two.

Yesterday I (legally and paid!) downloaded Jeff Wootton's "The way the light" and really like it. I think it sounds a bit shoegazey, at least parts of it remind me of Ride or My bloody Valentine, as far as I know them.
