What's your favourite gig you've ever been to? Can be Kasabian or anyone else, that's why I put it in this section.

I've been to so many outstanding gigs, and seen so many amazing bands, I honestly don't think I can choose a favourite. That's a good thing though

I don't know about favorite, but what stands out for me was Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds here in Vienna 2013 because that was so intense, at times it felt like a mind altering experience, especially "Jubilee Street". Funny thing is, I did not even see him, because I was standing at the back and he obviously kept crouching down at the edge of the stage. But that was no problem. The only one were two people having a conversation right next to me. I'm usually shy, but in that case I could not keep quiet and asked them to shut up or leave. Shame that they did not! Still, that was an absolutely unforgettable night.

I have been to a number of bands, but Kasabian live beats everything to me. So it is not really a contest for that matter. To be honest i am not sure anybody can even compete with them in live performances, except maybe UNKLE, but i have never been to their gig, unfortunately.
But if i have to choose from non-Kasabian gigs, then the first places is shared by Steven Wilson and Crippled Black Phoenix, second would be Depeche Mode, and the third Pink Floyd Sound.
I am hoping to see Massive Attack and Skunk Anansie soon, maybe they will crack the top 3.

My favourite gig was Noel Gallagher at Royal Albert Hall 2010 (first post Oasis gig).
My favourite Kasabian gig was at the B.I.C. In 2009.

It was my first proper Kasabian gig (I'd seen them support Oasis at Wembley Stadium prior to that). The setlist was nicely balanced back then 5 songs off each Kasabian and Empire and 10 off West Ryder. I distinctly remember there being notices everywhere saying the gig was being filmed. I wondered if they were going release some footage of those gigs with the Dublin gig... had they release that separately, rather than on the Velociraptor! Deluxe Edition. I guess it could just have been for the screens that made up part of the backdrop.

I guess it could just have been for the screens that made up part of the backdrop. I remember that. But they were also releasing short videos from each of the gigs on their YouTube channel (although I don't think there was ever one from Bournemouth) so maybe they had to put the signs up for legal reasons. The thought that all that footage exists somewhere is kind of painful. :/
