I have such a soft spot for the original Fairy that was featured in London Boulevard.
I do love the album version, it's one of my favourites, but I wish they had kept the lyrics from this one.

It's so lyrical and pretty, isn't it? The album version is a bit darker and more emotional. It still gives me flashbacks of sitting in the cinema with a camera trying to record it and terrified that I won't recognise which song is Serge's. I totally missed the plot and a friend had to explain me afterwards what happened.

It's so lyrical and pretty, isn't it? The album version is a bit darker and more emotional. Really? I think the old one is darker. It doesn't have the silly lyrics about dogs in handbags. "Give her what you love" I find that a bit more interesting than borrowed Beatles lyrics.

Agree about the lyrics, but music-wise, I find the album version more moving.
