It took me a while to fall in love with this song, although I know everybody loved it immediately. Days Are Forgotten was released 4 years ago today, so it's Pistols' birthday too effectively. I've been very lucky to see it in Amsterdam, it's so gorgeous live - really hope they bring it back with Tim one day.
I also love its lyrics, so mad, so witty.

Should have been on the album, aswell as Narcotic Farm. Pretty sure Nacrotic Farm wasn't even written when they recorded the album. It was probably recorded during the Velociraptor UK arena tour.

On the contrary, Narcotic Farm can be heard in London Boulevard, which came out in late 2010. Serge said several times that he only wrote 12 songs for Velociraptor (album tracks + Pistols at Dawn) so Narcotic Farm must be even older than that.

If the former lyrics might have not been written until later, and I doubt it was recorded with the rest of the album anyway.

Someone put the movie snippet on Youtube, look for something like London Boulevard Charlotte shopping scene if you want to check. It was not credited in the movie so everyone only realised what it was when Kasabian released it in 2012.
