Nevermind Serge's 0.3 second out of focus cameo, how amazing Stephen Graham and everyone else were? the last 2 episodes were outstanding although I'm emotionally exhausted after it. The scene between Milky and Combo was so tense, brilliant acting from both of them. Is there anybody who's hoping that there will be more series and Combo might still be alive? (Because I'm not) I wasn't hoping for anything special from Serge, but a few closeups would have been nice, also I assumed because he's a DJ, we'd hear him playing some actual music but there was none of it. Half of twitter is complaining now that they couldn't spot him  |

I was wondering why after all the hype and publicity of announcing Serge at the beginning of the series there was nothing about it this week. Still, if I was the producer/editor of This Is England and I'd had a such a high profile rock star in my programme and used his acting debut to publicise the show, I would at least have kept in one or two close-ups. I hope Serge's scenes will be in the DVD. After that heart stopping scene with Combo in the warehouse, I could have done with a Serge fix after the commercial break! |

I think you're right. the scene must have been cut because these background shots of him were so pointless. Only Kasabian fans who were watching really closely could noticie him. Oh yes, the warehouse scene and the drive to there were so heavy, when you see how Combo is regretting everything - and I almost hoped that there will be a happy ending after that with Serge playing some cheesy-happy track. but sadly no Serge and no forgiveness for Combo. |

I think there were too many happy endings for it to continue.
Milky was clearly torn about the Combo thing but it is understandable he did what he did. Combo's attack on him was brutal.
