What was the first song you heard? I might have heard something like Club Foot or LSF before without realising, but the one I consciously remember is Reason is Treason. That's the one that made me stop and get the album immediately.

What's your overall favourite song? I think Acid Turkish Bath is probably their best song ever, but Happiness is the emotional favourite. It means a lot to me.

What's your favourite album? West Ryder, not necessarily because it's better than the others, but because it kickstarted a lot of positive changes in my life.

What are your favourite songs from each album? Right now U Boat, The Doberman, Thick as Thieves, Acid Turkish Bath, Stevie

What's your favourite remix? Empire Jagz Kooner Remix. Also the Ovary Stripe Samples Version but I guess it doesn't really count as a remix because it's just another version made by the band. Reason Is Treason Jacknife Lee Mix, also not a true remix because it's technically the original, somehow. But I like those.

What's your favourite unreleased song? Rain On My Soul (Serge version) closely followed my Something In My Genes

What's your favourite music video? Empire or Re-Wired

What's your favourite officially released DVD? Little Noise is magical and the one I watch most often, but Dublin was so special because we knew it existed all along, and it wasn't coming out, and we had NOTHING from that gorgeous arena tour, and then we finally got it almost two years later.

What's your favourite unofficial broadcast? There's a lot to choose from, but I'm still not over iTunes Festival 2014. T in the Park 2010 might be second.

What's your favourite bootleg? Maida Vale 2006 is pretty special.

What's your favourite Serge song? Besides the favourites I already named, British Legion

What's your least favourite song? Sand Clit? It's not awful, I just don't care for it much.

Do you collect releases? If yes, what are the favourite releases you own? Yes. I'm in love with the debut album cassette at the moment, it's so cute and tiny. I like my Paradise 7 too. Usually the ones that were hard to get are a bit more treasured.

What's your favourite side-project/collaboration? Porkchop, because they're amazing and because they pretty much opened the door to a whole world of madly talented people in Bristol, and so many precious memories. I also have a major soft spot for Count Me In.

Which song makes you most emotional? All of them, but at the moment it's Stevie. Completely made me bawl in Utrecht, I don't even know what happened. I get emotional during gigs, but the last time I had actual tears coming out of me was Ladies & Gentlemen in 2009. Just kind of lost it and gave cuttoff a bit of a scare.

What's your favourite Kasabian moment? Ugh. So many. I can't pinpoint a musical moment, it's just the way they make me feel, always. Munich was pretty unreal.

What's your favourite snippet of another song in a Kasabian song? Word Up in Re-Wired. Miss You in Re-Wired, which they sadly did only once.

Have you seen them live? If yes, how many times? As of right now, 36 times. They're ever so moreish.

What's your favourite instrument they use? The Hummingbird. I've got the same one, lovely guitar. I also liked the poor Zemaitis that met an early demise last year.

What's your favourite Kasabian quote? "Don't regret what you should have done, only what you did. If you do regret, disregard and move on."

What's your favourite piece of merchandise? I love the big masked man flag and the Empire playing cards. Although I'm not sure the cards count as proper merch, I think they were just a promotional item. I like the grey insect t-shirt from the West Ryder tour too. And the Raptor feathers.

What's your favourite thing about Kasabian? Why do you like them? How versatile their music is. No other band can do that. There are lots of great bands, but by the time you get to the end of an album you're like yeah I've heard this before. Kasabian never stop being surprising.

If you could travel back in time and see one gig, which one would it be? Little Noise probably. First ever Thick as Thieves, Tom's long hair...

Apart from that, the apparently strong bond between them all. Not that I would not like them otherwise, as long as they stay together, but it is really heart-warming to watch sometimes.

Anything from 2005, with Karloff still there and "55" and "The nightworkers" in the setlist.

Such a lovely quote. It's something which amazes me too, because Serge is so gentle and soft in person, and then he writes vicious, loud things like Vlad and SBS.
