What are some songs that you personally adore but that are generally unpopular among fans?

What a good question! I must admit that I do love Re-wired...a lot! Hearing Tom "perfecting his style" is one of my favourite kasabian moments

I loooove Pan Am. Actually most of the first album b-sides - Trash Can, The Duke, Dr Zapp etc. They're gorgeous. Ironically my least favourite first album b-sides are the ones that everybody loves - 55 and The Nightworkers.

I'm a bit tired of it, but I love it again everytime they change something about it, like in 2013, or with Word Up last year. I've heard Happiness described as a really weak song and it's my favourite. But I think it's not very clear cut with Kasabian, they're so versatile so everyone has different favourites.

If I remember well, several people on the forum said they just couldn't stand this song, that's what made me think it was not very popular

Haha I still love them but I love let's say Beneficial Herbs or Pan Am more. They should play both 55 and The Nightworkers again with Tim, they'll probably sound amazing and I'll fall in love immediately.

Word Up is my favourite part. They should cover Word Up with a Re-wired snippet

All my least favourite Kasabian songs are probably still better than other bands' songs that I like.
I love all those old performances where Serge sounds a bit dodgy. Before his voice suddenly became amazing. I don't know why.

I prefer the Songbook rendition of Happiness much more than the album version. That was the performance that made it click for me. Bit more of a pace to it.
55 is untouchable tier for me! That's a firm favourite.
Re-Wired I can understand. Sometimes it sounds a little "stodgy" in the verses. Really sluggish. If I'm having a bad day and I'm feeling particularly pessimistic, I'd go as far as to describe it as a cock-rock song.
That said, the strings intro (and new live outro) is one of my favourite sections of any song from their catalogue, so there you go. Hard to pin down.
I can't really add any more to the topic really. What songs are particularly disliked? I'll stand up for at least one I'm sure.

I think I remember him bringing up at least The Nightworkers in some conversation, which was nice, because the rest of his band doesn't know their songs by name.

Live, it's got a superb hazy, wavy, woozy quality to it and a cheery gallopy pace. I'd imagine Tom could croon it a lot better these days now too. Haha, Rick's Tune.
