If it is an NME rating, you can bet you will get LCD Soundsystem, Vampire Wekend, Metronomy and PJ Harvey there. With all respect to all those bands, there are not "top 25" and maybe not even "top 100" material. It is like NME are completely blind for some genres, and are stuck in radio-friendly kind of stuff.
From the top of my head - some albums that deserve to be in top 25 albums (besides Kasabian and Prodigy), max one per band:
- Les Discrets - Ariettes Oubliees
- Mogwai - Rave Tapes
- Pink Floyd - The Endless River
- Steven Wilson - Hand.Cannot.Erase.
- Noel Gallagher - {choose one of two albums you like}
- The National - Trouble Will Find Me
- Marco Minnemann - EEPS
- Marsmobil - Black Album
- Serj Tankian - Harakiri
- Earthless - From the Ages
- Crippled Black Phoenix - (Mankind) The Crafty Ape
- Guapo - History Of The Visitation
- The Pretty Reckless - Going To Hell
- Foo Fighters - Wasting Lights
- Elephant Stone - Elephant Stone
- Public Service Broadcasting - Inform - Educate - Entertain
- Pg.lost - Key
- The Black Keys - El Camino
- Tycho - Awake
- He Is Legend - Heavy Fruit
- Thomas Giles - Modern Noise
- Alcest - Les Voyages de l'Âme
- Motorama - Alps
- Fuck Buttons - Slow Focus
- Architects - Lost Forever // Lost Together
- UNKLE - Where Did the Night Fall
