Now that the Tube Strike is off, I'm really keen on going, but I don't want to get home too late. Who is going now and what time are they coming on? (Just seen on Facebook that they're on at 9, so that's not too late at all  ) I'm definitely going, pip and flipflop are coming too. Would be lovely to meet you there, we should try to find each other Hey! A big group. Ace! That's my decision made then. I'm coming. Shall we meet up in advance? I'll pm my mobile phone number. |

Oh yay Ang would be nice to meet you there, we'll be the overexicted bunch talking about Kasabian all the time haha. I've got red hair with blonde highlights, there should be a pic of me somewhere in the meeting the band thread. |

It was great meeting everyone last night and putting faces to names at last and hope everyone got home safely.
Really enjoyed Kassassin Street and they definitely have a good stage presence and a great sound I'm so happy that after a few blips that I finally got to see them.

Really glad you all came along and hope you enjoyed KS! I thought they played a really good set, full of energy. Got me jumping and dancing  Next London gig, if anyone is interested, will be at Birthdays in October. This one is a proper gig and KS are headlining. They're touring with Clay and are splitting the headline slots, with KS headlining all the gigs in the south. www.seetickets.com/event/clay-kassassin-street/birthdays/897468They did headline last night, it's just that at that venue and on a club night, the headline act gets the 9pm slot because that is the one most people tend to be there for. It was interesting to see the venue nearly empty after KS left the stage The final band were ok but not a patch on Kassassin Street. I had a long chat with Rowan and Tom after and they were both saying that "All the right people" were there. Keeping my fingers firmly crossed for them, they deserve to go far. |

Yep fingers crossed for them .Considering some of the shit sounding bland bands out there who don't exhume much energy while playing it would be mad if no one shows much interest in them.

Really enjoyed the gig, Kassassin Street were excellent (my hunch that I'd need to see them live to 'get' them turned out to be right for once!). It was lovely to meet londonlaura and @ang1 and is always great to see cuttoff and pip, obviously Pip, I didn't realise that about the headine act/timing thing. That's good. And great that 'the right people were there', really hope they do get some serious interest from it. |

Kassassin Street performed two fantastic sets at Victorious Festival, yesterday. The audio in these recordings doesn't do them justice but still great to watch. It's a shame John didn't film from the other side as the crowd was much bigger and more lively.
