NOT, as so many people have asked me (I assume because the first three letters are the same??), a Kasabian tribute band! They are named after a street in Southsea, near Portsmouth, where they come from.
I mentioned this band in the 'Gigs' thread and, as one person said they liked what they heard I thought I'd start a thread

Rowan is the lead singer and also plays guitar. Ryan is lead guitar, Nathan, Ryan's brother, is the drummer, Andy is on keyboards and bangy stuff (I don't know what it's called, it's a wooden thing, some kind of percussion instrument ) and Tom is on bass.
I first saw them in 2013 and have seen them about eighteen time since (I think, have lost count now). They are all about 25 years old and have known each other since childhood. They are yet to be signed, a fact I find astonishing, but I know they have had a few indie labels asking to come to their rehearsals so am hoping they'll soon get their lucky break.
The great thing about catching bands at the very early stages of their career is that you can genuinely get to know them before any of the fan-girl hysteria sets-in I often spend time chatting with them before and after gigs and they are delightful chaps.
Some people may find them a bit too 'poppy', I realise that, but they are great live and have lots of dancey songs. Please give them a listen
