I thought I'd make a separate thread for this, because it's one of the great mysteries. Does anyone happen to know why the DVD was never released? Maybe someone who was an active fan in 2005? @crazyhorse69? It was a little bit before my time, but I know that it wasn't just a case of "Let's film this and maybe release it... oh wait let's not" but it was officially announced with a date and everything. Does anyone remember what happened at the time? Did they announce that it wasn't coming out or did they just not release it and hope people wouldn't notice, like the Switchblade Smiles single last year?

I must admit, i've got no idea regarding the history of why this didn't see the light of day, maybe some of the others can fill us in on the details, mabye there's a nice juicy story behind it ?

My guess is that it's because of Karloff's exit from the band, and they probably decided that they'd rather release a concert video with the new lineup. A shame really, it's a spectacular show that still deserves an official release - maybe for the 20th anniversary?
