We’ve achieved so much in the past 10 years or so and now I’m at a stage where I think I’ve sort of afforded the right to do whatever we want, I think I’m going to take that opportunity to do some experimentation and see what happens - Serge (source)Sounds like the WTF album we all want to hear.

Also, June 2016 Release date anyone? I could imagine that it might be around that time. Would be amazing, somehow I really want new music. It's not like I'm bored with 48:13, but I feel like not much is happening at all at the moment. Although we don't really know anything yet. The fact that Serge is recording in the middle of a tour reminds me of 2010. He demoed the Velociraptor songs in May, before the festivals, the tour ended in August and I think they were in the studio by November. But as usual, there are so many different things that can influence a release date that have nothing to do with the album being finished or not. I guess the fact that Serge has his studio and they also don't have to go to San Francisco anymore saves a bit of time. |

Are they recording yet or they are still enjoying their break? I don't think they're recording with the full band yet but Serge must be writing/recording. Tom's been keeping busy by promoting every charity in Leicester and visiting random companies for no apparent reason, I posted in the other thread what Ian is doing. Gary's playing a lot as well, Ben is probably making more bicycles and pianos, and Chris and Tim are having a well-deserved break. |
