What do you want the next album to be? I want more songs with strong Tom vocals, also Serge mentioned once he's fallen back in love with guitars (we have to thank Tim I guess) and I keep imagining sweet bluesy Tom songs (something like this). I want a different artistic director, preferable WIZ, and I want it to be produced by Serge again because the 48:13 was gorgeous. And lots of loud noisy drums.

I'll add getting Spike Stent back to mix the 6th album. Unsung hero I reckon! 48:13 is a lot less...heavy and solid than Velociraptor! A lighter listen.
As for songs, I'll agree with more "songwriting" style songs, but a little more focused than Velo. More like a "set" of songs.

I want something for Tom's voice. That's the only thing that's missing on 48:13 for me, there's not a song where he truly gets to shine. Maybe Stevie or Clouds a bit, but there's so much going on in both songs, the vocals drown a bit. Something like Silver Bullet, Thick as Thieves or Simple Pleasures, or acoustic Stevie.
Something like Levitation but 6 minutes long. It's kind of silly but it's my most played song on the album because it's too damn short so I always have it on repeat.
I want to say something like West Ryder, but there's only one West Ryder and it probably wouldn't feel the same.
I assume Serge is going to produce it again, he's been saying he wishes he had done it sooner, and especially with Tim, I can't see him getting another co-producer.

I'd like them to do a proper psychedelic album which is a bit trippy.
Sent from my HTC One using proboards

I'd like to get a real WTF?!-album, one that makes you think just that, before you slowly get to know and love it.

I would like them to try something experimental, something between psychedelic and progressive, still with Kasabian electro-rock. Maybe a couple of long songs, like Pink Floyd's Echoes, only Pizzorno style. And songs with Tom's lead and Sergio's backing vocal.

As for expectations, I don't want their HQ screwing it up again once it's done, better artwork possibly.
As for the sound of the album, and the songs, I'd prefer a WTF!? Album as well, which hits everyone really hard, but I don't want it to come out too early. It's magic when Serge takes his time. I'd want them to have an iconic song as well, like it is with Led Zeppelin's Stairway To Heaven or Hotel California by Eagles, you know, which just cements their place as absolute legends

I agree with basically everything everyone mentioned, especially the WTF?!-album (and WIZ! I miss WIZ, I loved his work with them). I feel like they kind of tested the waters with 48:13 with Serge producing for the first time and all of that so they might be even more experimental this time around. I know that they wanted to keep everything really simple on 48:13 so I kind of hope they go really complex on the next one, I miss the crazy lyrics haha.

Yes, something for Tom's voice! And what about some songs written by Tom? He said he had already written some... so why not? I miss the crazy lyrics of the debut album, I'd also want some WTF songs. And I want Tim to be able to show the extent of his talent, he is such a wonderful musician.
In fact, I would like a little bit of each album, with something more and unexpected.

And what about some songs written by Tom? He said he had already written some... so why not? He said if there's something that's as good as Serge's songs and it fits on the album they might. I don't think he's desperate to release something, otherwise they would, because they don't have the Noel/Liam type power struggle in the band.

I was not thinking of any kind of power struggle or desperation from Tom, it is just that I am curious to hear how a Tom's song may sound .

I also want lots of b-sides and remixes from the next album. 48:13 is their only album without any remixes.

I don't know if I mentioned earlier, but I feel a song with Tom with similar vocals like their Good Vibrations mashup thing. His voice is magical in there.
I'd also love a song like Seek & Destroy, totally on synths, but with more punch and more activities.
Would love something psychedelic like Neon Noon.
