The list is going live today at 7.30! Every year I hope for Kasabian releasing something for RSD but don't think it'll happen. Or maybe there will be a miracle and we'll get a Bow EP on a pink vinyl with 2 b-sides and 3 remixes.

To be honest it's a poor looking list this year, really hoping for a lot of different content on the UK one.

When I saw the U2 one I just assumed it was the freebie one.Unfortunately for me there is quite a lot that Id like this year and I haven't looked yet but I'm wondering if there is going to be a Walking Dead one.Banquet have the normal import but have seen that picture discs have been released in the past in the US and I'm willing to pay a bit more as it will be a special present for my daughter. I'm quite surprised your list is quite short.

There is a picture disc version of Walking Dead, however it's on the USA list only, there's 1,800 of them and I would expect a shop like Banquet to get a few import copies of that one. Regarding my short list, it may seem shorter, but what I'm doing is trying to focus more on full albums, and not get as many singles, especially 7" ones, those £8/£9 singles add up and they don't really represent very good value for money for just 2 tracks, especially when any other time of the year they would be around £5. Either way, it's still gonna cost me a small fortune

I wonder why Kasabian never do it, considering they're always very vocal about how great vinyls are and all that, and they do have the kind of fanbase that collects releases, so it's not like nobody would buy it. Is it just because the label can't be bothered? It's never been relevant to me so I don't know how exactly it works behind the scenes.

I got nearly everything that I wanted Biffy Clyro Puzzle Foo fighters Songs from the Laundry room Lonely the brave call of horses Johnny Marr I feel you Simple Minds Waterfront and a couple I decided there Manics Holy Bible and Bee Gees extended. Banquet are getting The Walking Dead in so il have to check daily for it and I was thinking of Joy Division but they sold out. I got there at 3.45 this year and my feet are still cold but comparing it to last year the queue didn't build up so quickly so IF I do go next year il start queuing around 5 instead. The people who got there around 9pm were after the Brand New Deja and was one of the first to go.

I was in the queue for just after 4:00 and was around 10th or so in the queue. That was good enough to get everything I was after this year (no misses). It was the same old suspects in the queue again, were really getting to know each other quite well after all the years we've been doing this now, it's good to catch up with people, makes the waiting go very quickly. I'll unwrap them all tonight when it's a little quieter and have a good look at everything, then that just leaves 1 more thing to do and that's listen to them all

Bit pissed off,I went to play Johnny Marr and it was jumping at the beginning .Went to play it on the upstairs turntable but that has given up on me now but it has served me well for about 30 years !.Took it back To the downstairs one the stylus is clean so went to clean the record but the vinyl brush decided to shed itself all over it.So until the new one comes I don't know if I have a faulty one . Crazy horse what do you use to clean your stuff ?.Years ago I used liquid but have read it can damage them.

I've just got some new cleaning tools (came free with my new turntable just last week) I'm using this one here: Cleaning VinylBefore that I just used to use a soft brush to get all the dust off them, which to be fair used to clean most of them up.
