Any thoughts on the album? This is a pretty good record. It's not the best High Flying Birds one for sure. And I'm not comparing it to Liam's album in any way. They are so different and their brotherly relations doesn't mean anything in this regard. As for the songs, I like the first part of the album and the closing one. But it feels quite weak in the middle. So what I mean is the tracks 1-5 as well as 9-10 are mostly fabulous. Black & White Sunshine and Be Careful What You Wish For and Interlude together with End Credits are my 'meh' ones. And I should add some whining about the sound. Too much echo and like some songs on FCOL sounds like they are recorded in a bathroom or something like that. And please listen to bonus tracks, Dead in the Water and God Help Us All. It's not the first and not even the second time when b-sides on Gallagher's record are far more interesting than some songs in the main part. |

I only have Dead in the Water as a bonus track. I think the album is pretty shocking. There's nothing on there that I want to listen to a second time, except maybe The Man Who Built the Moon. And no matter what I might think of Noel sometimes, I adore his previous albums and fully expected to like this one as well. Maybe it's a grower. |

I only have Dead in the Water as a bonus track. Oh, it's Japanese bonus. Try to search for it online. I've read this song was around since Oasis' Heathen Chemistry era. |
