I was at the show in Newcastle on Wednesday night and that marked 20 years since I seen Oasis for the first time in that very same venue so it was a bit special for me.
The show itself was full of energy with a perfect blend of songs from the new album mixed in with Oasis classics, for me it was fantastic to see and hear a lot of people getting right behind the new songs and weren't just there for the Oasis stuff.
Overall a fantastic show and it felt a bit like the good old days, it was good to roll back the years.

His setlists appear very short for an arena tour. He should be playing more of his solo stuff as opposed to playing so many songs by Oasis.

Is he playing any Beady Eye? He played soul love a few times at festivals but nothing at his arena tour, probably a good job tbh.

I get that about the Oasis songs, but when he performed "Rockin' Chair" during that BBC live concert, the first time since 1995 I think, my heart beat so hard, it almost literally went through the roof. The last time that happened while innocently watching livestreams was when he suddenly unpacked "Don't look back in anger" at Glastonbury. Crazy, what music can do to you!
Still, it's nice to see that the crowd also heartily sings along some of his new songs. But also, as I came way too late to the Oasis party, it was magical, hearing especially "Morning Glory", "D'you know what I mean, "Slide away" and "Live forever" in Dublin in June, real live that time. Hearing "Live forever" from Liam live was a bucket list item.
As for Beady Eye, I loved that band and it pains me how these days it's seen as a total failure. Don't think it was, just a bit unlucky.

I still really like the first Beady Eye album, I think something like The Roller would fit in nicely with his solo stuff.

I would love it if he threw in a Beady Eye tune. I love Morning Sun - beautiful song. Howeve, I expect it will mainly be the new album with a few Oasis tunes for good measure. Only four weeks until I see him - counting the days!!!

Sorry to hear the problems with getting tix over there. It happens everywhere for big gigs and it's ridiculous. I remember hearing a while back of a band not allowing online sales. I'm thinking in person, waiting in line for a few hours, may be the only way to curb sales to these ticket scalpers. Doubt they will ever go back to that method, but it's frustrating nonetheless.
On a better note, I saw Liam play San Francisco Monday night and it was fantastic! Set was a bit short, maybe just an hour? But, he sounded great and the fans were crazy. I'm jealous that you get these big arena tours. I love the small gigs we get over here but there is something special about a huge crowd singing along to all the songs.

Leeds isn’t a massive venue - about 13,000 I think - I’m expecting it to be crazy though!!! Glad you enjoyed the concert and Liam’s voice is holding up well. What Oasis songs did her sing??
We saw Oasis just before they split, at Wembley. Kasabian were the support - that was pretty epic!! One of our favourite ever concerts. x
