I emailed both Deezer and Rdio the other day because it's been quite a long time since they were recorded (Deezer in September, Rdio in October.) I tried my best not to sound demanding because I know it takes a while, but I just wanted to make sure it was in fact still coming out at some point in the future. Especially since Deezer is happily uploading sessions that were recorded mere weeks ago.
Just heard back from Rdio, they said the full session isn't coming out, but a few tracks will be, and they don't currently know when. I wonder what went wrong there?

My only stab at a guess could be a dispute between Sony and Harvest, particularly if the acoustic tracks were mostly made up from pre-48:13 albums.
Nothing's ever easy these days.

You might be on to something. When we asked about Ghostbusters and When You're Smiling last year, we were told that they're "trying to get the recordings from Harvest" which seemed a bit overly complicated to me, especially since we kind of tried to suggest that the band could just, you know, sit down for five minutes and the record the songs for the fans, like that acoustic L&G video in 2013. But it looks like they don't have those radio sessions, the Ghostbusters that was eventually released is from Rome. The very apologetic Rdio person wrote "we're not getting the session" which confused me because as far as I know it was specifically recorded for Rdio, but if they did ditch Sony for Harvest I can see how everyone would be getting their knickers in a twist. And the fans are the ones who are screwed.

It can't be an April's fools joke right? Because it's not funny at all. And why does it have Empire's artwork?

There's a 15 track version of 48:13. If you click on it the two session tracks are at the end.

Tom is right: this acoustic Stevie is "lovely" And Underdog is beautiful, their two voices just go so well together

Both tracks are very pretty, Stevie is a bit louder and faster I think, compared to the fragile, gentle early acoustic versions. And Underdog is just perfect, as always. Somehow I'm still not used to Tim on acoustic Underdog yet, still takes me a few seconds to realise what's different.
