We've talked about this a few times with highroyds and we both think that our favourite songs are not necessarily the best Kasabian songs. For me there are a few songs which I think are absolutely perfect. It's hard to chose of course but I narrowed my list down to 7 - Processed Beats, The Doberman, Take Aim, Underdog, La Fee Verte, Switchblade Smiles and Treat. What do you think is the best thing Serge has written? (or co-written with Karloff?). I need to add Ill Ray to my original list, and Acid Turkish Bath |

It's not ''Bless this acid house'' for sure:p I think that song means a lot to them, that's why he said it. And the interview was right after he wrote it as well, he kind of says it about every new song. |

Most of what was written on Kasabian.. although Karloff also had a huge part in that. The peak of the album has to be Ovary Stripe, ID, and Cutt Off. Also, I have a tender spot for Running Battle. The whole album is dark and psychedelic with analogue synths and reminds me me off a time where I was in a difficult spot mentally, not knowing who I was, the album became something I identified with. It became like a dear friend.
Treat - one of the best songs ever written imo, for it's epic break and buildup. The part after the break is just amazing, and if there was one song I wish I had written in my life it would be Treat. I imagine it must be amazing to play that song live, especially if you are Serge.
Vlad - Just a really groovy and a great dance tune. Also, cool lyrics.
Stevie.
Re-wired.
Fire.
