I'm quite pleased with this. Kasabian are at number 17, and if you look at the list, especially the top 16, it's pretty much poppy, wishy-wasshy, "even my granny listens to this" stuff, and then there is Kasabian who are anything but a masses band (thank God). Best selling albums of 2014 so far

I can find a couple of quality names in top 16 - Paolo Nutini and London Grammar. Maybe also Paloma Faith, but the rest is poppy indeed. Actually Kasabian are doing very-very well for an alternative rock band. To be honest, it makes me a little worried sometimes that they don't become mainstream because of that. Until now it goes pretty well in this sense - 48:13 is probably even the most non-mainstream album of all 5. As long as it goes like this, i don't care if they become the best selling band of all times;)
