I'm pretty sure there was no physical release, it was only digital. I was affraid of that. Unfortunately it is the trend the last years, i know like 5 to 10 interesting bands who only have mp3 releases. Do you know by chance if The Lysergic Suite have a record label?

Do they even exist anymore? I remember their album was supposed to come out just before Velociraptor, but then it didn't, and they were being all mysterious, saying something happened but it's a good thing... and we never heard from them again.

I learned about them just recently, but their last messages in social media date July 2013: twitter.com/lysergicsuite

But that was over a year ago, and the tweet before that is from May 2012. Their Facebook is dead, I used to have Gren friended as well, he posted like once a year. I wouldn't expect them to release anything else tbh.

I even pre-ordered their album, was so excited about it and then something happened last minute, they said there is a delay and that was it, they disappeared. Which is a pity because they were really good (although I wasn't that impressed when I saw them live) - I loved Ghosts and Jasmine so much and though Gren's voice is amazing. He only posts selfies nowadays.

That all sounds a little sad to be honest - looks like they stopped indeed. I wonder if Tom Meighan knows what happened to them.

I've heard they're not really close anymore. It's a shame when a band is good and then they just disappear. The same happened with Belakiss.

Belakiss are also gone?! This explains their silence for the last year. Does it happen because they could not find a record label? I cannot imagine any other reason. There could be conflicts as well, but usually those are solved after one person leaves a band.
What a shame if this bands have stopped, these people really should keep making music.

I don't know for sure if that was the reason, but I know two of Belakiss were dating and then they were not, and suddenly the band didn't exist anymore. It was very annoying because I really liked them a lot, they announced an album release date, everyone was looking forward to it, and then they disappeared without even announcing anything. I think the least you can do if you have already promised people an album is to say sorry something came up, we decided to take a break/split up/whatever.

I see what you mean. I also liked them. But it prooves yet again that music is a tough business. We probably should celebrate artists who did make it. But still it is a shame they broke up.
