I personally wanna see "Fire" as just a middle song. LSF should be the encore ender. Personally I would love to see either "The Doberman" or "AYLFA?" as the actual set closer. I know "AYLFA?" hasn't even been played live yet but I can just see it being such an epic set closer! Same goes for "Sixteen Blocks". The potential those 2 songs have would be a beautiful way to close out a set. And while we're on the subject of Wish Fulfillment, it would be incredible to have "Mothman" or "Beanz" as a set closer

Would be great to see LSF as a finale again. Difficult to remember gigs before Fire 😂

I think closing with something completely different wouldn't be an easy choice for them to make because people do feel so strongly about LSF, because it is such a Thing now. And I suppose some feel that way about Fire as well. Everyone knows what to do, you know? If they suddenly closed with Vlad or anything else, the song is over and then what? No singalong? Everyone just stands there? Fire worked because it has the singalong potential, they added the false ending/reprise at the end and it's one of their biggest songs anyway. I think a new closer would have to be introduced slowly, like Fire was, extending it, getting us used to it... I can see Club Foot working, or even Acid House, that would be such a joyous send-off.
Realistically I don't really see them changing the encore dramatically anytime soon. I think they might have backed themselves into a corner a bit by keeping it the same for so many years. Now everyone would complain if they did something new.

Thought about this topic in Lucca when the crowd started singing LSF after Fire.

I've been to 2 gigs which ended with Vlad and it was utterly confusing. We didn't know what to do and there is so much you can chant get loose get loose.
Club Foot sounded amazing but it's not euphoric like LSF
LSF ending all the way for me. It's the best, it's the most euphoric, the singalong is so beautifully crafted - especially if led by Tom and the rhythm section is arsed to play, and the trumpet in the end is just perfect. I wouldn't change it with anything in the world.

On the subject of Club Foot, I'd love them to start their set with it.

Wow - that clip of Clubfoot - they look sooooo young!! That would work really well, or LSF I think. I love Fire but am bored of it as a finale now x
